Thoroughbreds
Thoroughbreds originated in England in the 1600's, from Arabian Stallions and English mares, which were Arabian, Turkoman, or Barb blood. All Thoroughbreds can be traced back to the Godolphin Arabian, the Darley Arabian or the Byerley Turk. These horses are considered to a hot breed, and compete in a varity of sports, including racing, steeplechasing, hunters, jumpers, polp, fox-hunting, dressage and cross contry.
Live breeding only is allowed by The Jockey Club. No embryo transfer.

ColorsThe Jockey club recognizes these colors: bay, brown, chestnut, black, gray, roan, palomino and white. Due to palomino being allowed, any creme gene could be a possibility, perlino, cremello and smokey black included. White has nothing to do with a older grey horse - or the "albino" myth. Horses do not carry any albino gene. White shown to a lesser extent will not hide all color. However is leathel in the homozgyous form.
